Has anyone ever seen this type of ring before? What is it called?
Im looking at this ring on ebay. Its a diamond eternity band that pulls apart into a pendant…I am wodering if anyone has ever seen a ring like this before? What is this style called? And is it good quality? (durable)

I don’t think it has a special name, otherwise they would mention it in the listing. I haven’t seen anything like it before, but it won’t be very durable. First of all, it is set with >80 tiny diamonds. They are most certainly bead set, very easy to loose one. Second, with the ring being flexible, it will always be less durable than a rigid ring. What’s good about the ring is that it has a nice solid weight of 11 grams.
I wouldn’t choose this ring as an everyday ring, but the mechanism is quite fancy, so great for special occasions.
