Diamond Cake Band Questions
Crystal/Rhinestone wedding cake bands?
Ive seen wedding cakes where on each tier there is a band of diamond looking stones does any one know where i can find these and hopefully some with color thanks in advance
I believe it’s simply fabric trim. If you go to the notions department of a fabric or craft store, they sell the ribbon that’s studded with stones. It’s sold by the yard, but I think the last time I bought some, it was under $2 a yard. The ribbon is fairly see-through, so it should work on a cake. You will (of course) have to remove the trim before cutting and serving the cake.
